Shirley Jean Chamberlain passed away peacefully at her home in Tustin, California on Monday, April 1, 2019.
She was born on November 16, 1941 to the late Reynold (Brownie) and Ruth Naasz.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Chamberlain; her four daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Mark Engle, Joyce and Scott Wilson, Carol and Kerry Young, Gail and Brad Svoboda; her sister, Judy Whitehead; ten grandchildren, Sarah Hansen, Brittany Wilson, Kris Wilson, Ashley Price, Kevin Young, Stacy Young, Jacob Young, Brian Svoboda, Ashton Wilson and Evan Svoboda; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Allan Naasz.
Shirley was happily married to her high school sweetheart, Bob, for 60 years. She loved going to the beach and mountains, playing bingo and slot machines, shopping, cooking and arranging flowers. Shirley loved celebrating holidays and birthdays and making them special for everyone. For many years, Shirley worked at Mervyns in Tustin. Shirley had a beautiful smile that could light up the room and a caring personality that touched many. Most of all, she loved her family and friends, and they loved her. She will be dearly missed by many.
