Although I have no idea who is getting this message, I wanted to Dr. London’s family to know that Dr. London will be greatly missed and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Dr. London was my dissertation mentor and he was wonderful. Unlike my previous experiences, he was dedicated, involved, and very supportive. His critical assessments of my work never left me feeling incompetent but striving towards excellence. I feel sad that I did not get the opportunity to tell him how much I appreciated him. He was one of the few people I have met in my life that took the time to answer every question no matter how trivial. My dissertation will always have the “London” touch. I am honored to have known this great professor and that he was my mentor.
